Glint Action Plans
Glint’s dashboards displayed engagement survey data to HR professionals, execs and managers. The data was rich and full of insights, but, people didn't know how to strengthen their scores. Our challenge was to design a platform that would guide leaders and managers through the process and drive results.
The result was a beautiful, easy to use tool that could be used by managers and their teams to increase their scores.
Design Approach: I facilitated two day-long discovery workshops where the team collaborated on understanding and defining our customers and their needs.
We mapped a user journey for one persona to get clarity on feelings around engagement scores and to uncover opportunities.
Taking inputs from the discovery sessions and requirements, I created an application map. It served as a working document that helped the team inventory and prioritize all features. Each story was entered into JIRA.
A conceptual model that mapped out the user and her team along the engagement score cycle, helped communicate features and scope.
Final Design: The product was built into the already existing Dashboard, with a new module called Recommended Action Plans. The system would recommend three action areas based on scores.
On the Action Plan detail screen, a manager could manage Action Items by adding, completing, re-ordering or removing them. They could explore suggestion Actions or create their own. Real-time scores were shown so they could track their progress.
